@reeksy - does that one eat you alive, or pump you full of poison then eat you later?

@ElShalimo it’s a Huntsman - they’re fine. Great for keeping insects at bay and don’t create webs so very welcome around the house. They get very big and when they’re old don’t care about/notice humans so will sit out in the open.

Bit of an Italian Job incident last night on the track up to our house. Left overnight tied on with caving rope - the car was rocking in the gale sat on slippery mud. If it had gone over its a 1 in 3 slope down to the river. Recovered this morning in biblically wild weather with a neighbours tractor. Mrs Rhp suitably chastened.
