@althepal - congratulations.

I'm really looking forward to the grand kids, just not for a while hopefully. Mostly because I want my daughters to enjoy their lives free of that responsibility for a while and partly because I'm not ready for the title !

Congratulations Greg and Mrs. from the bunnyhops.

I love the name Reuben. Although as Martyn says above, we did discuss Bradley.
Isaac does seem to be very popular, number 35 on this list.

Congratulations.
And you know that 'Five' or 'Soul' is the best name for a boy... 😉

Big hugs Bunnyhop 😀 I did lobby for Bradley but Ruth was not having a bit of it:

'I'm not naming our son after a bloody cyclist. It's bad enough being a bike widow without having our son named after one as well!'

Was the general gist of it.

Congrats! Gti Junior presented himself the same way as I did, in an extended breech position, i.e. bum first with his legs folded up by his ears. Our Obstetrician was a very robust Scotsman who, when he discovered that he and Mrs Gti had dived many of the same sites in Scotland, decided to take a professional risk and gave us the choice: "Normal or caesarean? I'm off to have a curry, you have a chat about it and when I've finished we're going to get your baby out!"

Happily (I think God almost every day) his dimensional calculations were correct and Mrs Gti was able to deliver Junior, bum first, without too much trouble.

Daniel and Isaac......great names.

Many congrats and welcome to the club. Before you know it you'll be watching them play rugby and building them their first 26" wheel mountain bikes.

Congratulations to both.

The second kid is way harder I think. Say the first one takes up 75% of your time, you still have 25% left. When you have another kid taking up 75%, you have a problem. That never goes away...

This is 100% true

Gee thanks fella's (expecting 2nd in 2 weeks) 😕

Congrats! Well done to the ladies involved.

I like Isaac, naming your child is really hard!

My boys are 'Rik' and 'stefan', we needed names that sound good in English and in Dutch as I am Dutch.

Rik was the first one in nursery able to spell his name, well before Alexander. I love his short name, he has no other names (apart from his surname of of course). Not come across another 'rik' or 'stefan' in any of schools I work in yet.

I think people do make judgements based on names, really important to get it right.

Simone
