What sort of thermometer are you using?

What sort of thermometer are you using?

a digital one from boots, I tried to take her temp under the tongue, but it made her gag, and I have already seen christmas dinner twice, so I opted for the armpit!!

If you're using the one you used to see if the turkey was done, chances are that's why you're seeing re-runs of Xmas dinner on rewind.

More seriously, doctor. Now.

If you've not already done so, then yes, consider getting her seen. Remember that an axilla temp can be up to 1 degree lower than an oral temp, so she may be pushing 40 deg in reality.

Ring your GP practice and go through to the out of hours service, all that NHS[s]direct[/s]redirect will tell you to do is see a doctor, so cut out the middle man.
