Ebygomm - you've got a gorgeous looking but defective lab there !
Left food = not a proper lab.
Holly is a defective lab as well, when she was dropped off this morning she had half her breakfast dropped off too that she hadn't yet finished! Having said that she's fed crappy bakers rubbish so that's probably why!
Blimey - definitely something defective there! My Joe wouldn’t leave a crumb, even if it was disgusting! Pre programmed food machine…
This is Ivy. We've had her nearly 2 years now, so that would make her about 4-5 ish we think.

She's a Romanian rescue and quite possibly the best thing to happen to our family for quite some time.
We lost our old lab/collie cross a coupe of years before down to long term effects from an injury from another dog. He lost motor function in his back legs, couldn't walk properly and couldn't poop properly. We were advised to put him to sleep before he starts getting fly strikes and infection. it broke our hearts and I didn't think about having another dog after that.
However, some time after, wife and daughter were looking at smaller dogs, daughter wanted a sheeboo, but I said if we were parting money we'd get a rescue and save a life rather than sustain puppy business, and I wasn't sure anyway.
Couple of messages with rescue charity and they paired us with Ivy. We visited her at her fosterers, she came to visit us at our house and seemed to settle OK so stayed. then slept for what seems like a month. she couldn't jump onto the sofa, or go upstairs to start with, but we saw her physically change over time. she got very strong and now bounces all over the place.
They say that a rescue doesn't really show their personality for about 6 months. I'd say that about right and was marked by Ivy independently playing with her squeaky toys. we were so happy she was settled enough to do that! anyway, I'm rambling....
We didn't know what she was to start with, maybe some corgi cross. Then after a bit of searching (and google lens) we stumbled across Kokoni's, and she's definitely one of those! Although most small children think she's a fox. Kokoni's are small mountain dogs, good climbers and have a thick double coat.
She loves jumping on rocks and wandering along beaches as much as she likes sleeping and watching things. Very attentive and also very independent. A little protective over her family and territory, but warms to people quickly if reassured.
Realised she was a watcher of things when we went to a clifftop apartment and she spent hours at the fence watching the sea, seabirds, everything, just fascinated by it. She loves coming out in the microcamper for overnighters at the coast.
However, she really doesn't like being in water.
Dogs really are game changers !!
Man’s best friend indeed 🙂
Meet Lulu.

All other dogs are competing for 2nd place because I already have the best one 😀
Loves to go out with me when I'm on the bike but won't sit still for a photo even after 10 miles of running

On this morning's walk.

awesome pic.

Barkley on the left, 12 years old
Huey on the right, 4 years old.
We're very lucky, there's never any trouble between the pair of them

Here's one from our dog walker!
We get regular updates on his crazy antic when he's out with them.
I think they captured a classic today
Go Barney!!
2 of ours enjoying a frozen stick , they did check for sausages ..

@piemonster @GolfChick - wrong jacket on but probably about the same attitude to life 🙂

Still a youngster (9 months) so the bike trips are short and lots of breaks. She loves every second of it though and wonders why I'm so slow.
@bregante Great photos, looks very much like the river Mersey.
I'd like to share photos of Murphy, but they're all on Google photos and not sure how to link them here properly.
Starting to be more fun than hard work now, although at 8 months that could still all change

Playing with some new phone camera lenses. Doug as enamoured as ever with the idea of having his photo taken.
In season at the moment so really missing our off lead adventures. Now weighing in at 26kg at 9 months old. Not sure how much growing she has left.
If I had the faintest idea how to post photos I'd post some of our new German Wirehaired Pointer, Randal.....A 9ish year old rescued from Cyprus. Been with us a week and a day and settling in well. He's a lovely boy....so affectionate
One day I will get the hang of posting a photo on here, it's so much easier on the farming forum.
Shortly before her first rolling incident!
We did well to get to 9 months without having to get the tomato sauce out to be fair.
Oh the rolling in crap - one of the delights of dog ownership!
