For the kitchen, radio to keep the dog entertained with R4 while we're out, Bluetooth for musicing from phones, reasonable sound for said musicing, up to £100

Extra points for internal battery to allow use n the garden

Cannot recommend our Revo Superconnect enough, it's a fantastic bit of kit and the sound is amazing. Out of budget, though... worth a look on ebay - they have a direct "refurb" sales outlet on there.
