Nothing new in Lancashire; Police have been accepting reports of speeding and bad driving for years and you can even upload videos to their website. One report makes the driver liable to be stopped by an ANPR car and given a "producer" and more than three reports for the same vehicle earns the driver a home visit and a possible Section 59 notice. Our residents'group has dealt successfully with several habitual speeders in the street in this way, most recently two "bikelife" yobs on mopeds.
