Spanners

*Not really, just thought I'd better see if I can post a picture!

Very handy.   A previous train was delayed just enough for me to catch it at Leeds instead of having to wait an hour for the next one

Even the gods are helping.   No seat mind you but I have a can of cider to swig while sitting in the doorway and shouting at random people

Easy now - lets not have a thread derailment 🙂

You should have bought a paper.... Jeremy.

I missed the start of this whole story - but this forum is alright isn't it - some of the people here really are genuinely quite OK. 🙂

I could probably count on my genitals the number of posters I wouldn't want to share a pint with.

Good people all round.

Current total over 800 quid. Great stuff all round.  Though not sure how much is left after tj's pasty and cider bill.

Jeez! Car was only worth about £300! I'm astonished.

Should be loads to get it back into tip-top shape, Yaris bits are cheap, train fares and petrol money for those delivering, tax and insurance. Anything else we need? If there's any spare MrsH (car donor for those who missed that thread and just arrived here) and I have a pot for these guys http://radcliffedonkeysanctuary.co.uk.gridhosted.co.uk/ could we send the surplus there please? Everyone OK with that?

STW = Simply The Wonderous forum on the interent.

Be great  to do a pre pay fuel card , so the car is not a large ongoing cost and gets used to good effect by the family gnusmas. if such a thing exists .?

Chew - your turn now!  Is it Saturday you are heading south?  More ginsterfueled action please.

I really enjoyed my drive today in the end.  A gentle cruise down the A roads.  A7, bit of M6, A6 shap, A65 kirbylongsdale, skipton Halifax.

Sorry chaps - not technically literate enough to get live tracking - thats a challenge for Chew - especially as the 12 socket is borked

So that's what the car looks like, well bits of it anyway 😊

First time I have seen it!

TJ - thankyou so much for kickstarting this whole thing off and for what you have done. One day hopefully I might be able to buy you a pint. Or pastie. And cake. Possibly an irn bru too. Nice to put a face to the name too.

As I scrolled through the photos, you reminded me of wolverine! Though now Hugh jackman has moved on, we need a video of you belting out this is me from the greatest showman instead.

Looking forward to stage 2 updates now 😁

I met up with Gnusmas for a few seconds today. He was being given a lift to the other side of town, where his kids were off for some fun and a good time.

That will change soon, they will be able to go wherever, whenever. Cheers guys, TJ you have been a star today 😀

Yep,

I'll be departing from Halifax in the morning and via the power of pies, making my way down to Chepstow to drop off the car.

Blagged a lift back up North from DannybGoode on Sunday.

If anyone who lives in Bristol has a sofa to sleep on Saturday night, that would be ace?
