Took them off my 4 year old daughter's bike yesterday and after 30 mins she cracked it. Took her to Bushy Park this morning on the cycle track and off she went. Did over a mile before she stopped! Thought it was going to take her ages. Oh happy days.

Well done the little one, seems ages ago I did it for my two.

A few years ago I was in one of the those precincts with shallow drainage channels made in the paving, the sort of thing you hardly notice on foot. This little lad got the stabiliser wheels each side of the channel, so the back wheel was just off the ground, he was pedalling away frantically wondering why he was going nowhere. Its unkind to laugh but it did look funny.

She did very well this morning. I would have struggled with a mile in that wind!

Off work tomorrow - think I'll take her out again. Just need to get her to start off on her own now. At the moment she just does a semi circle and falls off.

Still smiling ๐Ÿ™‚
