What I've heard of it sounds really good.
Love to see them in a pub doing it.
If you've a spare ten million, or so, they'd probably come and play it in its entirety at your local.
My friends are well to do and spend a month in Mustique.
One evening Mr jagger did an impromptu acoustic set in the beach bar.
It's the only time I've envied them.
Did you see the recent BBC documentary on Keef? Origin of the Species.
Really interesting!
Is it as good as this? If not, I ain't bothering.
In surprised they haven't done this kind of album sooner. I've only heard the one track which was alright. I'll probably get a 2nd hand copy in a month or two.
^^^^ One of the best tracks ever. Quite a tragic story behind the original recording too.
Have heard positive things about their new album. Am getting it for the missus but I'll grab a download first.
Always favoured the "el mocambo" side on their live album "love you live".
I'm of the opinion that the stones haven't done anything good since Ronnie joined. And I thought the new album sounded good. Very "produced" mind. Mick Jagger's voice was, ironically, not that ridiculous fake merkan that he has affected since he stopped being a cockernee.
Some Girls is a great album, IMO of course
Ride em on down is definitely a tribute to Robert Johnson....
Side one, lp 2, of the 2015 sticky fingers reissue.. I'd argue it's the best Stones you will hear.
Shaun keaveny is playing the album on 6music from midnight
if he promises not to speak i will try and listen
Why ain't Wyman doing time for child pestering?
What I've heard my dad would have loved....If i walked into a bar and heard it, I think I might stay for a couple.
The album is ok- they could really do with Mick Taylor to add a bit of magic to it though
I'm officially dancing.

Because as long as your musical/creative repertoire was good, then it's ok
Bill Wyman
Pete Townsend
Roman Polanski
etc
But if your music/creative repertoire was crap, you're in trouble
Gary Glitter
Jonathon King
etc
Polanski's still a wanted man in the USA iirc, and would be arrested if he set foot on US soil?
Gary Glitter's music was bloody brilliant!
I'm of the opinion that the stones haven't done anything good since Ronnie joined.
Well, there WAS that teenage waitress...
Every rock star and DJ must be looking over his (or her) shoulder and wondering if anything is going to emerge from the woodwork. The day after Leonard Cohen died the telly showed a rare film about Cohen called Bird on a Wire and there were at least two scenes in which groupies approached Cohen and basically asked for a shag. And not the aquatic bird type of shag either.

What's left of Zeppelin must be really shitting themselves if the tales of debauchery are true.

Surely it's all in the (auto)biographies
I've never understood their popularity myself. I don't hate them, don't like em, just like bland. Meh.
just like bland
If songs like Sympathy For the Devil, Jumping Jack Flash, Gimme Shelter are bland, I'd genuinely like to know what music excites you.
The new albums a bit "de ner ner, rinky dink dink" and a bit average IMO.
However they have a vast back catalogue of epic tunes.
