Just watched it on BBC.
Absolutely fascinating and I only wish it was longer than a one hour show.
I was 10 when it first aired on TV and it was almost certainly the first documentary I'd ever watched and since then it's always been one of my favourite genres.
It was an amazing achievement to film something that ambitious in 'the 70's. I remember there being so many moments in the series that were incredible to watch and how evolution played out over billions of years was particularly fascinating to me.
Anyway, if you missed it, it's no doubt already on iPlayer or will be very soon.
Well worth the watch.
We watched that last night too. The patience and dedication of wildlife filmmakers is amazing, imagine having to sit in your nan's front room watching a male frog for 2 weeks, waiting for him to hiccup and produce the baby. It's no wonder good telly costs a shedload of money, on top of the costs of moving a lot of people and kit all around the world for 3 years.
It really does feel about time that BBC launch a dedicated Attenborough channel. There must be so much content in the archive. I would love to have a BBC Attenborough option available the whole time. Not just on iPlayer (as is currently the case with Attenborough at 100) but good old school terrestrial channel that encourages you to watch when flicking, rather than making conscious decision to stream.
