Richard II, Henry IV, Henry IV 2 and Henry V

Ben Whishaw as Richard, Rory Kinnear as Bolingbroke

Jeremy Irons as Henry IV, Tom Hiddleston as Hal, Simon Russell Beale as Falstaff...

Anyone else really looking forward to this? Haven't been so excited about a Shakespeare series since I went to see the RSC do the Henriad at the Swan many, many years ago!

It'll help make Shakespeare a bit more accessible to the masses I suppose. People like yourself O'Flashearty.

Personally, I prefer mine unadulterated at The Globe.

๐Ÿ˜€ @ Darcy!

Not been to the Swan then, eh? ๐Ÿ˜‰ It's superb.

Then again, I do like a trip to the Globe now and again.

Can't wait, I'm a medievalist and the wars of the roses is my period! Really looking forward to this.

Who knows what the significance of "this son of York" is?
