Yep. Just switched it on to watch the game only to be confronted by the poor guy getting cpr on the pitch. Immediately switched off again.
Really hope he pulls through.
Awful. Took a while for the cameras to pull back.
Surely it shouldn't be left to the team mates to screen the medical team while they are trying to work on him though.
Home game, his whole family might be watching.
had to stop watching it 10 minutes ago , agree about the camera work in the stadium.. I really wasnt expecting to see this. Fingers crossed for him and his family
Absolutely awful. Hope he's ok 🤞🏻
Twitter showing pics of him conscious with an oxygen mask when being carried off.
Let's hope that's the good news we hope it is.
Apparently he was conscious and breathing when he left the stadium
Hope that's true

The Danish FA have said he is awake in hospital, so thankfully not as bad as it could have been and looked.
conscious and awake and game will resume at request of the players.
I imagine that the players have got more news than the rest of us, and it is something to be happy about and they are feeling much better.
Still not sure it is the right decision to continue the match tonight, and I don't buy the "players request" line from eufa.
So these games are being played across Europe? Doesn't that give teams a home advantage?
Doesn’t that give teams a home advantage?
Quite a few teams....
I almost didn't want to check this thread, but glad it's not the worst. Amazed the game was resumed - I think I'll watch it.
I hope the commentators remember how to do their jobs in the second half, instead of just spouting overly sentimental bollocks for 45mins and turning it into a "death of Diana" moment.
That’s a little harsh MSP, it must be so hard to get the tone right when having to talk constantly about something like that… So pleased and amazed he seems ok, he was a very long way from ok!

True, it's hard to tread the line between sober and maudlin. There is a bit of a tendency for tv presenters to drape themselves in a cloak of elegaic poetry to show that they are sensitive. Which takes it A bit too far.
Softest penalty I've seen called in a while. Defender pulled out, might have just about scuffed the polish on the little toenail. Denmark very sporting though, nice soft pass to the keeper instead of a proper pen.
"Eriksen, sen, sen; He’s our number 23.
Eriksen, sen, sen; He's a loves Spurs like you and me.
To the left to the right; He’s our midfield Dynamite.
When he plays for the Lilywhites; He makes everything alright !!"
Nice tribute by Lukaku.
No pressure then Mr Mount !
So, Trippier playing at left back despite Shaw and Chilwell in the squad, two very good left backs? What’s that all about? Just so Trippier can take corners?! Southgate overthinking it…..
An ‘interesting’ starting line up
I’ve got Shaw in my ff team as I thought he’d be nailed on to start. I’ll keep in my squad for when Southgate brings him on second half when they’re two nil down
Yeah, not sure how Shaw doesn't make the starting line up. And even as a city fan I wouldn't have had Sterling as a starter ahead of Grealish and Rashford, the only logic I can see in that is that Grealish and Rashford could be game changers when/if brought on and I don't think Sterling in current form is (hope he now has a MOM performance and gets a hattrick to prove me wrong).
Chillwell is not fully fit, apparently. Trippier over Shaw is most likely about pinning Croatian wingers back, to isolate Modric. Also Sterling has a tendency to drift inside and Trippier might be seen as a better option to provide width in attack.
Croatia determined it leave their mark on, well, anything that comes within range.
Good start from England looking hopeful so far.
it's the hope that kills you
The problem this team has is that when Kane drops deeper and Sterling or Mount of Foden go past, which Croatia is really struggling to stop, there is no real height, so everything has to be in the ground. Easy for Croatia to neutralise.
Tempo dropping, Croatia finding possession and ways into the England half. England have shot their bolt, Croatia survived. Modric to score in 5,4,3.....
Inevitably Croatia will come into it, they're too good a team not to.
As happy as I am that we can now pass the ball and keep possession, (although I'm from the age where it still give me palpitations seeing an England centre back exchanging passes on the edge of the box) with a positive big striker like Kane I think we can be a little reluctant to just cross the ball at times. As the commentator just said, sometimes it's pass for passes sake, working it wide into the final third and then....recycle all the way back to the halfway line, which then creates the situation where Kane has to drop deeper to be involved.
Not every time, just to create some variation.
When’s he going to bring Kane on?
......what's Kyle Walker doing today?
playing in a side that's never played together ?
Ah, so in a more familiar line-up, he'd have expected someone to be anticipating his pass 20 yards beyond the goal-line. Got it.
You can tell who Walker has been playing for - he is playing passes into the forward spaces, his teammates are expecting them to feet.
The Croatian right back is pushing up, Sterling is not going to come back which means Mount or Phillips coming across to double up. That means more room centrally for Modric Karadic? Racatic? Not sure of the spelling bit the very experienced central players
Nothing to fear for Scotland from either of these!
Brilliant goal! Good week for Sterling after being awarded the MBE.
Ready for half an hour of increasingly desperate defending from Inngerlernd?
Nothing to fear for Scotland from either of these!
Two excellent sides neutralising each other, Scotland will be chasing shadows.
Mind, Scotland will need to stay in the shadows if the weather stays like this, you'll need to make sunburn substitutes 😉
Walker. Passing into attacking space. Just saying. Phillips did so well to see it. Best player on the pitch so far, for me.
Ref's a bit quick on the draw with his yellow isn't he? Two pretty nothing fouls get yellows. What's he gonna do when someone goes in with a reducer?
there's a portable gallows they can wheel out for a proper reducer.
9 minutes of added time
[sorry, typo]
I thought it was a pretty decent if not spectacular start by England. Sterling probably did enough to warrant his start, Foden looked ok at times but he and Kane didn't get the best service to make use of their talents. Philips deserved his man of the match and provided the team with energy in the centre.
As suspected the "players request" line by UEFA about restarting the game last night was rather disingenuous. The players were given 2 choices at a time when they weren't in a good frame of mind to be making decisions.

They made a brave choice at the time, glad I didn't have to make it. Hindsight is easy.on all sides though.
Is there a best dive award? Or a BAFTA for the best agony roll because some one got within 5 yards?
Ukraine/ Dutch game is a cracker so far.
It's a lively one. Bavaria beer for me on this one. Old Speckled Hen earlier, Efes for the Turkey game. What's the chances of finding a local beer for every game I watch without resorting to buying online?

Seems a worthy challenge.
Loving the Dutch/Ukraine game as a neutral
