I was convinced one of the crime family leaders was Johnny Knoxville but he was not in the credits.
My son used to refer to him as Bob the vet so that’s a second career for him.
– Why didn’t he fire one of his knee rockets instead of stabbing him with the Tusken stick?
Did you miss all the training with the people who helped make him a new man? One with a sense of belonging and connection to others? And one with a whole new way of fighting. It was the new Boba, the one Cad Bane didn’t know.
He also got to use his badass mad eyes wide open face when he swung the gaffi stick to prove he was still badass despite going soft.

Yep it was an awful series. A massive disappointment after The Mandalorian series. The story was a mess, the SFX worse than the A New Hope and as for those mods, just wtf? Truly truly terrible.
Not very good at all.
It mostly felt like they couldn't be arsed to write it, so just assembled it from the rejected script bin, "we'll get away with it because Star Wars".
^^^that review was better than the show.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up!
Who would have thought that Boba Fett could have been turned into such a dull character?
Pretty disappointing season. A lot of it just wasn't very well done - e.g. the mod scooter/speeder chase was really slow and boring. I wasn't that annoyed by the mods themselves though. It picked up when the Mandalorian appeared, but then it just made me wonder why they had done a Boba Fett season at all?
I still miss it on a Weds eve though.
😀
Going against the trend here but I thought it was better than the Mando (which I also enjoyed). Boba was deeper slower moving story, where as mando was 'this week mando shots these people".
I enjoyed it as well... of the three parts to it, I enjoyed the "how did Fett become this man" thread as an involving slow motion sequel to the original series, the "Mando series 2.5" was an exciting further step towards what new TV Star Wars is becoming, and only the "There's a new boss in town" stuff was a bit stilted and lacking in story lines and dialogue.
Anyone watching Raised By Wolves?? It's a lot better than this nonsense!
Loved it 🙂 I thought Luke CGI was rather good... soon they will need actors no more 😉

I will agree with this, Mando was like Stargate SG1, new planet every episode but same issues, where as Boba was the one planet but with the different groups and different issues each week, I only expect each follow onseries to get better though
I thought Luke CGI was rather good…
It's impressive rather than good. But I found the face far less expressive compared to Luke in ROTJ era. I know they got Mark Hamill in to capture the facial expresssions for his appearance on the Mandalorian, but maybe Hamill in 2022 can't project all the youthful sparkle that you'd expect in Luke just post ROTJ.
Or perhaps they wanted Luke already getting disillusioned and serious as he moves towards being the miserable old coot they depicted in TLJ.
Forget Star Wars, Picard S2 starts streaming today.
