Working from home today and rushed to the letter box in anticipation of some exciting post. Was horrified to see our name and address hand written on a posh envelop. It had that shape and air of a seasonal greeting. Who the **** would be sending Christmas cards in November!?!! Its was obviously going to be one of Mrs W's friends, mine send them about once a decade.
I picked it up (after considering putting on rubber gloves in case the curse of early postage was catching) and thought about putting it straight into the bin so that we didn't get engaged in card wars before Christmas Eve. Anyway the curiosity about who could do this heinous act overcame me and I opened it. You can't imagine the relief to see that it was a change of address card.
Deep breath and cuppa time.

As a bloke, I've obviously never sent a christmas card in my life. I don't get the whole female thing of writing christmas cards to absolutely everyone, including people they work with. What on earth is that all about?
