[#775677]

have any of you subscribed to these for work? Things like supply2gov and b2bquote.

They cost money, but i have no way of knowing if there will be the kind of results I want.

What's your experience?

supply2gov isn't free if i want anything other than local tenders.

TED's probably the best and I have used that.

Simap I've not seen.

We're a supplier

supply2gov lets you see only so much of the contract information then you have to pay

We use https://www.sell2wales.co.uk/

Searching on TEDS etc can be a pain but knowing your CPV Codes is a great help (Common Procurement Vocabulary)

In that case it really depends what level of contracts you are after? over EU threshold then TED is your best place as ALL EU tenders will be on there and it is free. Under threshold then in general you need to pay for a custom service. that said have a look at these

http://www.europeantenders.com/
tendersdirect.com
QSL Tenders (qsl-uk.com)
publictender.co.uk
ectenders.com
govopps.co.uk
dcicontracts.com
https://www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk/ukti/appmanager/ukti/ourservices?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=opportunities&_nfls=false

Also search for tracker, you have to pay though......... again!!

My main gripe is that most search companies charge and their results can be off, they tend to send only basic information and not always the full information. Basicaly you get a digest once a week or they send anything that hits key words. IMHO they are nigh on usless.

What market are you in?

btw.. I work for the Audit Commission and set up contracts & frameworks ๐Ÿ™‚
