Going in June with 3 generations of family. Age range 1 1/2 - 72. 72 year old not keen on driving every day.
What is there to do?

Well obviously there is a beach.
Boat trips from the harbour.
Sea life centre.
Portland Bill lighthouse.
That's all I know of off the top of my head.
The Bovington tank museum isn't too far away, about 20 mins drive, live displays and tank rides in the hols.
Monkey world (my 6 yr old found that boring though)
Also nearby are coves like Lulworth which are good walks/scenery.

You could pass the time by looking at the signposts to work out the correct spelling of the place.

If it's a scorching hot one you could buy some big mirrored shades and get some quality perving in. 😀
