I'm 6'6" and in need of some new gear. Where do the rest of you giants shop for clothes? I like Howie's and Findra but they're expensive for stuff that doesn't quite fit.

ASOS does a Tall fit line for cheap t shirts etc, not sure what else they do.

For long leg trousers try Prana or Gap, both do 35" or 36" leg versions.

Are you talking physical shops or online?

Physical shops one of the useful things about TK Maxx is the sort all their stock by size rather than style so you're only looking at things that are likely to fit, rather than see things you like and then finding out theres nothing in your size.

Online 2Tall is worth a look - you'll feel like a midget - a bit like the 6'6" guy being the smallest guy in a basket ball team

Is it trousers/jeans you're after?

I'm only wee at 6'4".

For jeans I find Levi's shops have long leg versions.

Or are you talking cycling wear?

+1 for gap jeans, I’m 6’4” and not in their longest.

I will definitely check gap. I'm specifically looking for a good hoody and joggers just now. I can usually find jeans no problem as a 36" inner leg isn't rare but no shops seem to define extra long sleeves.

Nothing to add really other than that as soon as I saw your height I thought of Carter USM’s Sherrif Fatman-
“Six foot six and a hundred tons
The undisputed king of the slums
More aliases than Klaus Barbie
The master butcher of Lee on Sea...”

With a 34” inside leg I find Columbia trousers tend to be good length if you want more ‘outdoorsy’ type stuff.

6'3 here

My hoodies are from howies or outdoorsy companies. Also hollister is sometimes ok

Joggers are a problem. BAM used to make some long length ones, I have two pairs from there

My problem is I'm a 32/34 waist and 38/40 chest so medium sized clothes aren't long enough. I need XL for length but they're too big then

6'4" here.
My problem is finding t-shirts long enough. I'm XL across the chest (46" ish) but it seems hard to find t-shirts at least 31" long.

6’4”, 36” leg, 38” chest here. Trousers from Gap or Levi’s, and 1 specific style of jeans from Next too.
Dress shirts from Charles Thyritt so you can specify sleeve length.
Hoodies and jumpers from either Decathlon or random purchases in TK Maxx. They range in size from medium to XL.
Casual shirts pretty much always have the sleeves rolled up, long given up finding any that fit my monkey arms!

But where does tall and slim? M&S used to have a decent selection online but it seems to have shrunk, I struggle to find smart shirts that are remotely fitted and don't cost the earth

But where does tall and slim?

Like I said above, dress shirts from Charles Thyritt as you can pick the fit, the sleeve length and the collar size separately. I’m currently fitting quite nicely in a 15.5” collar, 36” sleeve and extra slim fit.
For casual shirts I’ve just accepted the sleeves won’t fit and buy a medium (or even a small occasionally) and roll the sleeves.
M&S just don’t work for me at all, they assume all tall, long armed people are also fat.

I've found Next are okay for work trousers and shirts, sleeves could be a touch longer M&S are crap. Stock very little in long trousers, was told to buy online and send back, not what I was expecting from a shop with the footprint of a small football stadium.

GStar jeans work for me, but for everyday stuff I now like next, younger self would be mortified I've just admitted to that 🙂

What I really want to find is race pants that fit... seems like DH riders are rounder around the waist than me if I want longer legs...

This is a great thread keep em coming..

I found M&S did a range of moleskin trousers in their Big and Tall range that fit really well.
I have a 35" inside leg.
Rohan trousers can be bought unfinished with a 36" (38?) inside leg and then turned up to fit
Next trousers in extra long are just about ok for me too.

I buy Endura 3/4 length shorts as they fit lit normal shorts on most people. 🙂
Still never found a pair of MTB trousers with long enough leg though ..

As mentioned above ASOS do a tall range with quite a bit in it. Also Nike do a tall range, so that would include joggers and hoodies.

More examples here than I'd been able to find myself.

Got a couple of nice tops from Sherpa that have noticeably long arms for the size (medium). Not sure if the same applies right across their range though.

Jeans come from.carhartt for me. Can get tall and thin sizes instead of having to wear a belt and having the sit All bunched up.

Nike and Columbia do nice long body tees.

I just got some M&S shirts in the sale, 2in longer and tailored fit for £12 each. They fit very well though I am wearing the smallest size they do.
