whats another option rather than an expensive lens or telescope? (such as some sellotape and binoculars)

Why would you need a big flash gun when the Moon is basically a big light bulb in a black sky!

Surely an extension tube won't work? You'll never get the moon in focus with one of those. Did you mean a Teleconvertor?

How about nicking a pic off the net. It's the same moon adn it doesn't do anything different for you ๐Ÿ™‚
