Any more suggestions?
I have a Uniqlo cotton t-shirt I bought from a charity shop. It's twice as thick/heavy as any other t-shirt I own. Feels proper quality
Haven’t got any (yet), but ‘community clothing’ tees look good, UK made but they fail the ‘under a tenner’ test!
I have some, very nice quality. My wife bought them for me, not sure I would have been able to cope with the price…
I don't mind a minor bit of shrinkage in the top half, the thing I find really annoying is shrinkage in length
I'm 6'3 but wear a medium t shirt. Some of my tees have shrunk length ways so they're shorter than I'd like. Does anywhere do tees that are not too short. I don't want a nightdress, also don't want a crop top
I've got a couple of Morvelo t-shirts (6=7yrs old) and they're very good
I wonder who makes them?
Sainsbury for cheap every day T-shirts
Stanley Stella Creator T shirts.
I got some t-shirts at the end of summer - here goes:
- Finisterre: washed loads and is still great, lovely soft cotton
- Montane: very good
- M&S: awful as it lost shape after 2 washes
Best "high street" I've found are the Farah ones. Good range of colours, nice weight, wash very well. Organic cotton now too. Not a tenner.
Nudie shirts are also nice in terms of weight & longevity but a bit loose / boxy for my taste.
Had lots of wear out of various Crew t-shirts as well.
Going to try the Stanley Stella ones when I need some more basics.
Current fav for basics was Gildan but their organic options aren't as extensive. Tried Weekday in a few colours and whilst fine, they are a bit lightweight and don't hold the shape as well as the Gildan.
