I wish they'd had the guy from Mandela's memorial doing the signing.

I hate the anthem bit! ๐Ÿ˜ก

Did Murray just say something about the talking being over? If only. Somebody make him stop, please.

I hate the anthem bit!

It always seems to be an exercise in how much more they can over-milk it.

Currently running 5 minutes or so behind - had to pause it for an emergency chips 'n' dip and Budweiser run cos I thought it started at 11:30 not 10:30.

Nice fly-by.

I feel sorry for Murray's co-presenters, who are contractually obliged not to punch him in the throat.

Goddam you BBC for chucking away another sport. Really good coverage last year, now it's adverts and Colin Murray.

They should make him sit on his hands, the fidgeting touching dog. How I loathe you Murray.

It's not that I'm his biggest fan by any stretch.

Are they allowed to have more than one quarterback or chap who throws the ball?

Come on the Seahawks .... you've got to love any part of America where it rains all the time.
By the way this thread is so much better than the Super Bowel thread:-)

I'm sensing tails that you're not an NFL regular? In nfl there are actually two sets of players for each team, the offence and the defence. So Peyton leads the bronco offence but is not all involved in the defence.

Blistering start to the game! Good ruck between both lines.

Major issue is that I appear to be seriously undersnacked for the game - most of way through large (and only) packet of Tyrrells crisps and only 5 minutes into 1st quarter.

Tails it's height limited mate, no more than 3 players over 5ft9 on the field at anyone time.

When the flags are thrown on the pitch it's because someone thinks there are too many tall players on the field.

Only one quarterback per team on the field at any one time but they have back ups.

Here's a score you never really see in NFL 5-0 ๐Ÿ™‚

... and "special teams" who do things like the kick-off and field goals.

Snacks?
No chips.
No dips.
No bud.
No soda.
I have brioche and a glass of milk.

Indeed. As I wrote that I thought about the special teams but was trying to keep it simple.

Plenty of action so far.

Colin Murray is making the Fox coverage seem less annoying than usual.

Why do some of them seem to have a tea towel hanging from their waist? Is they waiters?

I haven't got a clue but I liked that throw. Not so keen on his sideways passes though.

Did you never play touch rugby at school? Same thing: get the towel and that counts as a tackle

Wouldn't have happened on BBC.
