Not really the suit type of lad, but need to wear tomorrow for masquerade ball, i will be semi dedicated to take photos as well.. What colour shirt and tie goes with dark grey suit (not plain... Bit of stripes on it but can only be seen if you are inches of the suit) ... Thanks STW

Can't go wrong with a good quality Oxford in either white or a nice cornflower blue. Then, a slightly louder colour of tie, such as something with some orange or green in there. A good, bold, pink patterned tie is also good.

Unless you're doing the Harvie & Hudson thing! Not many can carry off their stripes!

Very interesting choice of tie captain..

Suit is similar like this in colour.

Also... Can I get away with dark brown shoes? (Italian pointy one)

Of you want a more conservative tie then a plain very dark blue can work with a paler blue shirt. Oxford is a good call. Similar principles can apply to other colour shirts/ties. Cfh is clearly braver than me but good tie shirt matching comes with practice so I have suggested a safe starter.

I would favour black shoes with grey.
