As long as it's not a Zack Snyder film it should be ok. But DC really need to find the winning formula for their characters to transfer on to film as well as Marvel have.

Directed by David Ayer, who did End of Watch and Fury

It's like they went **** it, nobody can follow Heath Ledger's joker so we might as well cast jared leto. I know nowt about suicide squad, or who half of the characters are, but still a pretty good start isn't it? Great trailer. DC seem to be working the darker side of the comics pretty hard.

(admission: I'm looking forward to superman vs batman too now. Even though on paper it's a disaster waiting to happen, the trailer suggests bats completely off the rails...)

The landlord of the Duke of York in Todmorden was a leading light for a while - horrible little man, nasty, smelly racist pub too.

Looks nowt like Will Smith though.

the Will Smith element is putting me off slightly. however, yes- it does show promise. as long as he doesn't try to take centre stage too much, it'll be good!

not as good as deadpool though...

I only really have an awareness of this because I have to for work, but aren't these comic book movies mainly pitched for teens and "young adults"?

I can't remember seeing one that had as much depth as a good Jason Statham movie.

The landlord of the Duke of York in Todmorden

The LL in the Wellington was a bit the same, [bloody good with racing tips though]. We got grandstand entertainment as some scroats and a pseudo-hippy decided to have a glassing contest outside.

Bottoms up!

You mention this on a forum where adults admit they still play with Lego? ๐Ÿ˜†

Expected a better Harley Quinn from the delightful Margot Robbie but we're missing one thing...Ben Affleck as Batman!! Really?
