Having just moved house and awaiting the construction of my new garage, (better than christmas!) I am thinking about storage solutions and my daughter sent me this link:

some good ideas in there but what have STW bodgers come up with on their own..?
Nothing yet. I need to start the wider house renovations first: integral garage with asbestos ceiling, so not worth doing anything in there until that's takwen out as part of other works.
But the plan is:
- Boxes with lids and cupboards instead of open shelves because garages are dusty places.
- The garage has a long alcove at the far end - overhead shelving above vertically stored bikes to keep things like Christmas decorations (in boxes).
- Keep enough floor space to park Mrs North's car in winter (or a Lotus Elise if I ever get round to buying one)
