I'd give it to the gobby Liverpudlian just for having the nerve to ask for the votes.

Despite her silly hopping-around-flailing-your-legs-about "sport".

🙄

I'd have gone for Jermaine Defoe after what he's done but I missed the deadline.
Voting's closed.

Won't be AJ from a tv channel that has abandoned the sport.

First year I've found it a bit painful to watch, even the sporting highlights seem to have been diluted. Cant we just let people run, swim and kick a footy around without all this hype and constant records that need breaking makes it a bit joyless. Still I am watching.

its nothing to do with sport now. its about coverage in social media, product placement etc. no matter who wins, the one who deserves it most wont.

Not sure anyone would have picked that top 3.

@dienamic

+1

surprised to see him in the list though the BBC did do a front page article on their website when he was killed.

Cheers Mo,
£5 at 28/1 was well worth a bet 😯

Joshua at 1/100 less good value, amazing for bookies to be so off in a public vote. Jonny Peacock was 18 votes ahead of Joshua.

I placed my bet on Mo because it was the public voting.
Couldn't believe the odds. Thought it was an obvious choice.

The right one too - would be wrong for GB's most outstanding athlete to never win it

Deserved and long overdue. His contribution has been off the scale, a travesty that he didnt win it the first time he did the World/Olympic double.

its nothing to do with sport now. its about coverage in social media, product placement etc. no matter who wins, the one who deserves it most wont.

So Britains most decorated athlete and multiple world and Olympic champion in arguabley 2 of the most difficult events in any competition is not the most deserving?

So crime does pay after all.

Would you like to explain Salad-Dodger?
