[#11818657]

They've done a static fire test already today, have evacuated Boca Chica and may fly later.

I've had this running in the background in my office most of the afternoon:

Spacex stream will be here:

It's so Flash Gordon isn't it. Well cool. No launch tower, just a cherry picker earlier.

I re-watched SN10 yesterday as I'd not seen the landing, just the rapid disassembly. Just amazing they can flip it like that.

Agreed. It all looked very last minute, then the engines fired and it landed *with a bounce and subsequent rapid disassembly

It was the raining debris that did it for me 🙂

Taking a step back if I'm asked to take a ride on a Starship.

I suppose they could make some souvenir key rings with what’s left 🙂

I've watched the highlights of the launch. Didn't see much through the fog. I'll take a look at new video when the fog clears.

Just watched the Nasaspaceflight stream on playback, reminded me of golf commentating when they're trying to make an exciting broadcast but all the material they have to work with is golf. Good fun though. "Did it launch?" "Uh, no? Yes!"

Do we all agree that the best viewer experience here is successful take off, successful flight, successful descent then spectacular explosion upon rapid landing?

Love it.

This is SN15, which is new and improved compared to the earlier versions. Also new versions of the Raptor rockets.

I rather like the SN10 version with the RUD taking place a few minutes after the successful landing - shows that they can land it but still provides the crowd pleasing explosion.

I'm actually excited about this !!

Edit: and SN16 is already assembled so we won't have to wait too long for the next test. Gotta admire the balls of SpaceX.

Well the launch window doesn't open until 6pm our time so you're not missing anything until then.
