Marsdenman, if you like Yorkshire lager, Daleside Blond tastes very similar.

Are you mad??!!

EVERY thread on this forum is about showing off one's nicheness!

I think the entire male existence is about showing off one's nicheness, or being drunk (or humping, but that's another subject entirely).. Combining the two passtimes is extremely suspicious in my book..

FWIW I had a bottle of RCH Old Slug porter last night - definitely not one for the lager fanciers IMO, or anyone else for that matter

This is my fave at the moment. Is lovely

Most Kolsche is preety good TBH. Needs to be served cold. The locals are very rude about Dom Kolsche, and Sion.

Peter's Kolsche is lovely

I'm niche enough to make my own Wheat beer, and its really very good ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, Wheat beers make a nice alternative to lager if you want something a bit different. Erdinger is the most common but Fransikaner, Weihenstephan and Paulaner are better if you can find them.

Warsteiner is a nice German Pilsner

Nimbus Blonde is one of the nicest Scottish bottled ales I've found even better than Arran Blonde

I too would like to extol the virtues of Brooklyn Lager

I would also like to throw the following into the ring:

I'm going through somewhat of a US inspired odyssey
