Here you go for starters...
1 - Being handed a red rose in front of a shop full of customers in the chip shop I worked at (pity she wasn’t much of a looker).
2 - Getting a series of cards in the run up to and on the day from a real 'admirer from afar'. Eventually got together and got engaged. Then she ran off with our mortgage adviser.
3 - My girlfriend and I walked round to the local Chinese for a takeaway and she sat opposite me and did a 'Sharon Stone'. I married her. 8)
I'm probably going to regret this but Valentines is the one celebration that gets my back up. I don't need to shell out on a stuffed teddy holding a p##s poor bottle of Champagne to let my wife know I love her.

The girl who I'd not been going out with for long who, totally unprompted and without a single hint, bought me a Reverb. 'twas totally out of the blue and without doubt the best valentines gift I've ever had. 😆
