A few years ago I went for dinner at a restaurant that I think was also a hotel in the New Forest. It's a lovely big old building that I remember as slightly faded. There were lots of stuffed animal heads and antlers on the walls, and a couple of Irish Wolfhounds ambling round. Does any know where this is? I was driven there and have absolutely no idea where it was. Thanks!

You might mean Balmer Lawn, just outside Brockenhurst - don't remember it being like that though, but it is 20 years since I went there.
And there was this lovely girl that I got on really well with and never saw again...
