[#5956542]

Hi
normally I do a trip myself catering for ourselves and driving to resorts.

I need to book a catered package this year, looking for a late deal in march for 3 bods

Igluski seem to have some good offers but who else would you recommend?

thanks all!

iglu+1

directski used to be good for cheap deals (including transfers), but I haven't used them in ages

We normally go for places from ownersdirect, not sure that you'll find many catered on there though.

In the past, I've used both Crystal and Neilson.

Crystal had marginally better flights, Neilson better overall service in resort etc.

I've booked holidays with Crystal, Iglu and Ski Total. All where good value and good service.

Have done both Crystal and Iglu before. Iglu was the budget option, Crystal with the family with more organised activities on offer.

Come to think of it I think one of the family trips was Neilson, which was on a par with Crystal.

Cheers, Rich

Same as you, we usually do independently, but we went with Neilson last year to St Anton on a last minute thing. Paid £320 each for flights/trannys/accom/food/wine. wasn't expecting much, but it was great. i'd use them again.

In my experience:

Iglu are okay, but not brilliant.
Neilson are good.
Crystal are usually very good.

BTW make sure you get yourself a discount!

I saved £227 on my Neilson holiday this year thanks to my £15 SCUK membership. (other clubs like Ski Club etc offer similar discounts).

Oh and if you book with Neilson the watch out for extras like 2for1 on lift passes, which they didn't offer us till we pointed them out on the website!

Look at the "Money Saving Offers" bit for your chosen resort on their website. e.g. http://www.neilson.co.uk/ski/france/les-deux-alpes

We've used SkiTotal the past few years and they've been absolutely top notch. Previous to that whe've used Crystal and Ski Miquel, who are based in Manchester and are excellent but have a limited range of resorts.

Used Inghams the last 3 or 4 times, no problems recommending them, they were very good.
