My son wants a skateboard for his birthday I want to get him something decent but not too expensive but the right size weight etc for a 5 year old. I don't want to get him rubbish that doesn't work.
Any suggestions what and where i can get something.

you can get smaller boards on ebay or you can look around for the 'classic' fish boards which are a lot smaller than modern decks. Alternatively just get a 8 quid board from a supermarket. The desks die after a bit of grinding but they're ok, certainly for a five year old, big though.
