Someone has a address@btinternet.com and they have been using the webmail/login etc for email.
Now they have a third party piece of software that they want to send out through, my question is .....
Is the SMTP for this BT account... mail.btinternet.com
Just done a google, but there are so many different ones.. 🙂

I use an @btinternet.com address with Outlook and the POP3 & SMTP servers are both mail.btinternet.com

Also does the BT smtp require authentication ?
As I know some of the ISP's require authentication.

It does but use the same settings as income server
