Clearing out the workshop I have a lot of old Lupine light kit, is it worth anything?
Looking on Ebay you can buy 3 billion lumen magic shine lights for about 27 pence, so is the Lupine stuff even worth Ebaying? Just been testing all the batteries over the last few days and all four are as good as new in terms of run times with the original Wilma 6 (830 lumen) light.
Quite shocking to think what I spent on it all 10 years ago, Lupine Edison (£600 IIRC), Wilma 6 (£550), two spare 4 cell Lupine batteries at over £100 each!
Also found a Liteoption Ray3a 1000 lumen headlamp with 4 hour run time as featured in FGF many year ago https://singletrackworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/fresh-goods-63/
Give it away or Ebay?
Mlght be interested. I have lupine batteries and all my LED kit has lupine connectors on it consequently. PM me with what you have.
The low output makes them more or less unsellable now, I have just given away similar lights to occasional bike commuters in the office, in the hope that they at least get some use, and maybe get them commuting by bike a bit more.

830 Lumen is low output? I’d still consider that to be a perfectly usable light, although the price these days would be unthinkable! I’ve got little lights that put out around 250 lumens, cost £11, and one or two on the bars using TwoFish lockblocks were perfectly fine for riding the local lanes at night.
