Well, they don't but it turns out the alter stone which has always been thought to have come from Wales actually came from Northern Scotland. All 6 tonnes of it. So Stonehenge has stones from Scotland, Wales and England which to be honest, is pretty bloody impressive. Id love to know the story of why our ancestors felt the need to do this but I'm guessing that is something we will never know for sure. Anyway, I think it's pretty cool.

But… replace the word ‘film’ with ‘documentary’, get Greg Wallace to front it, in a white warehouse coat and a hairnet and you’ve got yourself hit. Or at least 45 minutes of tolerable viewing that you can repeat
