Yes I know Scotland is a big place!
We're heading up actual North in just over 2 weeks to do a road trip in our motorhome (we promise not to park in anyones driveway/poo in laybys) The trip is to celebrate the future Mrs B turning 30. We're playing a lot of the trip by ear.....probably driving up to the borders on day 1 and having an overnight there....then maybe Edinburgh, Aviemore, Lomond, even a trip to Jura maybe.....
Somewhere in amongst that I'd like to treat her to a night in a nice posh Hotel. Dog friendly and with space to park a 6m motorhome. Maybe access to a fetid sex pond hot tub would be nice. No real budget constraints as it's only for 1 night.
Suggestions please....

Erm, it's a big place so maybe narrow down the area for the posh hotel night
An alternative might be to find a very nice restaurant that let you stay in the car park after you've spent your evening there?
Maybe outskirts of Edinburgh area or Aviemore then to narrow it down?
We'll end up staying on a restaurant car park at some point I'm sure but want to treat her to a hotel stay (we're currently living in the motorhome so a night indoors is probably well overdue 😂)
Balathie house hotel just north of Perth is lovely and dog friendly. It sits on the banks of the Tay in a beautiful setting. Food is great as well!
It would be about halfway between Edinburgh and aviemore.
