Try must have been during the dive, double movement after that. Phil Vickery; raging bull right enough.

Bye bye.

France had that so covered all the way.

After that i think England should now go down to 10th in the world rankings. 😆

10th would be too good for this set of under achieving cretins.

At least a good France turned up. Two decent NH teams in the Semi's, pity they have to play each other now.

😯
I kind of feel the other way, I'm not sure that I saw anything to worry me next weekend. England made the French look good. The only weak point I see is the Welsh defending in the 22 and letting the French put points on with drop goals. Wales will have to push the French back.

On that showing Wales will win next week.

Wilkinson is history now. England need to follow the Welsh example and go back to grass roots and build a whole new set up.

New manager for England?

Interesting point earlier re 7s. Wales had a strong focus on 7s recently, with the likes of Hook and Davies coming through that. It certainly makes players look for spaces and lines more.

England? Well, the RFU need a long hard look. Appointing a great captain as an international manager? When he had zero experience? Not really the right call, IMO.

at least we made a fight of it in the second half.
just a shame we seemed to swap indiscipline with an inability to pass to hand.
frustrating but I have to admit fair that we've gone out.
I think the tournament will be more entertaining without us.
:sob:

@CFH - something fundamental needs to change. We've traded on 2002/3 for too long and now we've had our worst showing ever i think.

The only game plan at the end was get it to the Samoan 😆

Relied on old players for to long and havent brought enough youth through, so what if you have a couple of shocking 6N's build up the foundations of a good side and dont coach the bejesus out of them.

Wales owes a huge debt of gratitude to Graham Henry for sorting out the WRU. We arent world beaters yet but they way Wales are playing is so positive. Gatland said a few harsh things today on 5 Live which the likes of JJ will get all arsey about. He has a point though.

Well we fell one hurdle short of where i (and most England fans i know) thought we were going to fall.

We need to go back to basics (at all levels) seems most the players don't know the rules

Oh and watch the frikkin ball! At least twice in the game today England players were hit by a passed ball as they weren't watching it.
