and a flat pass from anscombe

It really wasn’t. It was forward and a correct decision.

More concerning is why everything this weekend is going to the TMO compared to Scotland’s game last week, where every dodgy try was waved on.

Wales are winning the championship on points not scored, anyway. 😁

Scrappy win but Italy whilst not put to bed never really looked like winning. I'll take that with the team put out.

off JD2’s knee (not above the knee) so no knock on

Umm clearly above his knee in the replay.

From that picture or the replays? You must have a different definition of ‘clearly’ than me - I thought it hit his knee, although I am far from certain.

Looking very much like Wales will need to win all their games to come top - not looking too promising at the moment.

That picture, its above his knee cap

You cannot accurately view 3-dimensions from a photograph, you cannot be sure he is in contact with the ball at that point.

If you watch the replay, his right knee, the bandaged one is below the ball and his leg knocks the ball forward. Its 1hr 53 in to the show. https://www.itv.com/hub/six-nations-championship/2a4295a0024
Also reviewed at 2:21 where its clearly shown.

England and France women look head and shoulders above the other NH women.

Let’s hope the men can keep up the winning run over France after the U20’s and ladies both win their matches.

I’m just waiting for last week to be a false dawn and a steaming heap of shit to be served up at Twickenham today.

There is soooo much space behind the French backs!

May has turned into some winger.

French winger looks better coming forward than going back.

This could well be a rout of England keep this up. Big ask for the French to not let their heads drop.

They’ve really lost the kicking battle in a big way.

if the french pack run out of legs in the last quarter as suggested this could be a rugby score

I know France are Franceing, but it's getting increasingly hard to see beyond a na England grand slam now. They look very sharp.

Your plan is a bit obvious Cap'n Flash.

Well I thought the French might be back in there for about 35s....

The chat before was there won't be a grand slam this year, England might have something to say about that, the trip to Cardiff is looking like the big one

I want to see this England team keep their feet on the throat and not ease off. The best teams in the world keep on going.

May has had another cracking game. What a winger he has turned into. Especially when you think what a headless chicken he used to be.

They can't ease off against this French team.
I reckon if they sit back then France will score a fair few.

Yes his has got to be the case.  Agree with Mike above, I’d now command one of those scenario models and play 40 mins of intensity imagining that 3 tries are needed to get past a second half against a leading Welsh team.

Although the rush defense is there, it’s good to see England can change tactics.

Lets see if a French change successfully or England tear them a new one...

feels a bit harsh there, no sure he would have gathered it. Is 'probably' good enough?

With my rose tinted glasses on, I think he’s scored. He’d have chipped it on and touched down.

Fab read by Slade again.

England a tad lucky to maintain momentum there. They’d slightly gone to sleep.

Think the records will fall today, most points for England against France at home 55, biggest winning margin 37. Just 20 mins to go

The worst French team I have ever seen. I wonder if Italy have realised that they can win that game.

It’s all gone a bit flat now; big lead, lots of changes. I hope Robson will get on shortly.

How shit is Parra these days?!

God knows why Youngs and Farrel are still on, Robson is in dire need of game time and Farrel needs a rest!

When the slow mos are shown at the end you’ll see it was May’s hand that knocked on. Agree blue probably wouldn’t have beaten Farrell but May definitely held him back. He even looked at the camera to see if he’d been clocked.

Are these different ones to the TMO was looking at?

They’ve done some things well though have they not? - France v Scotland will be interesting.

The problem is doing those things at the same time and in the same direction 🙂

Bit of a dull second half.  England lacked bite.  Still playing for 40/50 mins.
