Another option would be the Refreshment Rooms at Cymmer. I think they'll be open as well.
Why not go to the Station Pub ??? Watched the Springboks beat Wales there and had a good time, the locals did not mind my South African accent either 🙂
You can cycle down to the Station Pub on the disused railway line, turn left at the end and over the bridge iirc.

Spent an evening in said Rugby Club on an Afan visit once, top chaps and gave us free food also 🙂
