Nope. Correct decision according to the laws and guidence.

Can you show your working out on that

I just couldn't see that much of a drop in Tompkins height - looked wreckless to me.

In hindsight, it went a bit tits up after I commented.   It felt pretty even until then, and a very close score.

Wales started well then lost it a bit, our bench was shit and that told when a lot of key players got injured.

Completely accidental and unavoidable contact and the tackler did nothing wrong.  Dickson explained it well.

But they won't be alone on the flight home. Ingurlund will be  heading back to Blighty after tomorrow evening too.

Can you explain how it was unavoidable? Cannot see that. He didn't need to hit him in the head. It's mystifying.

Feel very sorry for Wales and Welsh friends who will be gutted just now. Only plus point is that Gatland is an obnoxious human being that I love to see losing.

I suggest you watch the video again with your other eye open?  Perhaps read the laws and protocols? I called it as accidental contact when first made.

As the Argentinian was only a very short distance away tompkins dropped significantly.   There was nothing the tackler could do to avoid it.  Not all head contact is foul play.

Wales did fall apart a bit. Got to feel for Costello but the move was telegraphed smart Argentine defence.

Accidental doesn't make any difference, I suggest you read the protocols

There was nothing the tackler could do to avoid it.

He could have avoided it by not entering the ruck. Simples

Guess we’ll just have to bow to the superior knowledge of the on field referee, the touch judges and the tmo then………

Gutted for Wales but they just couldn’t get it going today. Those missed line outs really cost them after the first try.  They really swung the momentum of the game.

And we are off! Good luck all.

Especially Ireland. Hard to believe this is only a 1/4 final!

I think it's something to do with the draw 😜

Nice to watch a stress free game - may the best team win.

The AB's are rolling around all over the place in the rucks, got to be deliberate and pretending to be falling over just to disrupt.  As always, on the edge of cheating.

WBs beginning to reel them in now. I wonder how many cards we'll see.

Ireland and New Zealand play a different sport to the rubbish that England currently dish up (and I say that as an England supporter).

Doesnt seem right that England could go further in the tournament than either of these teams.

Every ruck you can hear AB voices reffing the game. I’m surprised it’s been allowed*

*no I’m not; it’s the ABs!

Yep. A southern hemisphere clean sweep now looking likely, although it would be funny if England were the only NH team to get through 🙂

Can we talk about Ireland and Wales please?   The other team doesn't really deserve to be discussed in here tonight.

Wow, I thought the two yellow cards would be the downfall of NZ.

I don't think it'd have taken much to piss Johnny off tbf.

Really felt for Bundi Aki at the end there. Poor guy was broken.
