Eeek, late England news; Mallins out & Daly back to 15, Sexton will target Daly for sure. Lawrence comes into centre, lets hope he gets some ball and can show an attacking impact outside of Farrell, without Farrell kicking it away all the time.
(before todays game)
"Hamish Watson (44) and Jonny Gray (39) are yet to miss a tackle in the 2021 Six Nations, no one else has made more than 30 tackles without missing at least one, Watson also didn’t miss a tackle in 2020 (73); in fact he has made 133 consecutive tackles in a row in the tournament without missing one, the second longest such run in Six Nations history (Lionel Nallet 154)" - SRU Website
Van der Merwe beat 15 players today - surely he must go on the lions!
Can we please just freeze the tournament now?
Scotland second in the table 🙂
Looks like player release for Friday is yet unresolved. PRL insisting on being paid huge sums. SRU refusing
there is no way Scotland should be disadvantaged by this in any way - and we simply do not have the money the PRL are looking for nor should we be paying it
I have a feeling England are gonna get a lesson today. Ireland massively up for it.
That was a lovely try.
Yes, very good.
Classy try indeed..
England getting well beaten in the air, breakdown, scrums. That try was well worked.
England not getting the rub of a French ref again, but Ireland are indeed better.
Earls dropped that ball btw, very dodgy grounding and it should have been reviewed.
England havent played this shit for years, tired, uninterested penalty magnets with nothing to offer as a team on the pitch.
Apart from the second half last week, England have been exceedingly poor this tournament, regardless of refereeing decisions. All round discipline is woeful.
England don't appear very good against the home nations do they?
What did I say earlier?
If ireland don't make mistakes on the kicks then england have no way of going forward
England don’t appear very good against the home nations do they?
They were not that great against France either TBH, lucky with try at the end.

Nonsense. Not even close. all he has to do is be in contact with it as it hits the ground. Not even close to a gap between his hand and the ball
They were not that great against France either TBH, lucky with try at the end.
They weren't even very good against a very poor Italy
England don’t appear very good
correct.
The antagonism on here is so frustrating. Surely we can let people have an opinion that we might not agree with, regardless if you think they are wrong. Especially as so many of the points discussed are subjective.
One thing I think we all agree on though is England are poor!
And dumb
One thing I think we all agree on though is England are poor!
Respectfully disagree.
😉
If the wales one wasn't a knock on, neither was that.
However maybe they've revised the reffing. It went forward, but he knocked it back, and we all now know that's a knock on...
And the Ireland second row, played 6 as well is a nailed on lion. He’s been immense
Kind of a shame about the knock on, as it was a great kick and incredible finish, would have been a legendary one for Keet.
Farrell theatrics coming back to haunt him. I'm quite embarrassed by this schoolboy rugby.
Anyway, lets have a few beers and watch the proper match later - vive la France!
For some, this is the proper match.
Ireland will give England a lesson today
No-one gives England a lesson, because that would indicate you learn from it. Instead, same old list of bad discipline, silly technical infringements, inability to get/stay on the right side of the ref, and when we do have the ball we kick it away again
Is this the same group Jones said were world beaters last week? I'm afraid the inability to learn and the reversion to a flawed game plan time and again lands at his door. Time to go I think.
Do a France and coach themselves?
Just don't seem to learn anything.....if the big muscly stuff doesn't work they're lost
It's too late to "Wales" it with the extra man isn't it??

I am looking forward to a Wales win tbh
Red, I dunno if this is fair.
IF we win, it will always be remembered as the game we lost really..

Wales had already hit the comeback button before the card. It was a closer game.
England have never really been in this.
I don’t think England will win. Need two converted tries plus a penalty so unlikely even against 14 men. England don’t have a cohesive team on the pitch either - players out of position.
Was a red card.
Red, I dunno if this is fair.
IF we win...
With England playing this poorly you could take 3 or 4 Irish players off 🙂
I think it's a clear red by the rules, but almost feels like Vunipola led with his head there.
I don’t think England will win.
You are mystic Meg and. claim my Euro lottery win...
So if England lose this they're fifth in the table. Think that would be their worst result for year's.
Love your optimism Kryters. I'll keep my fingers crossed for us.
Can only assume OF thought it was an illegal tackle.hence the "oh the pain" collapse followed be "why am I going off? I'm fine".
2018 we came 5th
Genge is lucky to be on the pitch.
How was Henshaw man of the match.....
I didn't see what Genge did?
Love your optimism Kryters
I was being sarcastic...
Looked like there might have been some hand to head action, all be it probably with open hand but looked like it might have had force.
I was being sarcastic…
Oh.
Looked like there might have been some hand to head action, all be it probably with open hand but looked like it might have had force.
ref was a bit crap TBH
