I've heard people say that royal jelly is amazing stuff that improves your immune system, makes you immortal etc but can't find any actual evidence to support it.

I'm giving it a go for a month but does anyone else take it or have any evidence to back up people's claims?

I remember from Tails Of The Unexpected that it turns you into a big buzzing bee.

It's reassuringly expensive?

Wife gets the stuff (10 day course) from a chinese dr when she needs a 'pick me up', I am pretty sure it gives her more energy and enthusiasm. Works out £1 a hit so I dont think thats much to ask if it helps.

we paid 5 euros for a little jar that will last one person a month. Started this morning and I'm feeling good for a Monday but suspect that has more to do with the 3-day weekend and lots of sleep than the bee excretions.

monkeyfiend the royal jelly is just a front, it's what he's doing with the rhino horn and tiger penis that's putting a spring in her step.

It's great in the bath, not so great on toast!

Unless Royal Jelly isn't the bath lotion stuff that my wife uses (and I pinch!)

5 euro for a month's supply sounds suspiciously cheap. Given what it is, there can't be that much around that it woudl be that cheap.

Plus I would never give money to a Chinese medical outfit based on what they perpetrate on the wildlife of the world.

A bit like beauty products - if it's that great where are all the 200 year olds?

Everything in Spain is suspiciously cheap!

we bought it from a little village shop that sold loads of honey, pollen etc too so I guess they must have a good supply. Also, it lasts a month because the daily dose is the size of a grain of rice!

Beauty products aren't there to make you live to 200 - it's to make you look less like 80 when you're 60. Simples.
