As above need to go there but not going to bother yet if it's been hit bad by the snow.

Southampton was pretty snowy but the main roads are clear(ish) and certainly drivable.

All major A routes should be perfectly usable.
Side roads however , are another story. Get some gravel or grit and a good shovel as if you have to go up any hill you risk getting stuck.
