An amazing guitarist, up there with John McGeoch in terms of innovation. RIP Geordie.

Sad news, I only ever saw Killing Joke once, at Bristol Bierkeller, on the Pandemonium tour. Possibly one of the hottest, sweatiest gigs ever, I was right at the front wearing a leather bike jacket. On the way out there was fog pouring out of the exit from the hot humid air, and my mate looked at me and said “Christ, Ade, you’re a really unhealthy colour!” I was almost shading into purple, and my jacket was literally soaked through, which takes some doing.

Great gig, one I’ll never forget. RIP Geordie.

Another huge loss.  I love the sound he got out of a guitar.
