I have a nice Tissot that I don't wear very often because the leather watchstrap mings after a day's wear.

I replaced it with a rubber one, but even that's getting a bit unpleasant too.

I'd like to replace it with a decent aftermarket stainless steel bracelet, but my recent experiences have been awful.

First was what I was assured was an OEM Tissot band - it wasn't, it was a fake and didn't fit, so sent back for full refund.

Second was a cheapy just to see how it looked. Unfortunately it looks like a cheapy too, and required filing down the edges of the strap links before they would joint the lugs on the watch. For £8 not too fussed, but it's been on a day and it's already put me off because it looks nasty.

It's a 20mm fitting, so I'm considering the T34 from here:

I've bought from them in the past and they're generally good, but has anyone got any other recommendations? The watch is an old PRS516.

Plenty of decent bracelets available but depends what you like style wise, brushed, shiny, beadblasted links.
Style of clasp.
Straight endlinks or fitted ones.

A aftermarket bracelet that pretty much always gets good reviews is the 'Watchadoo' one available on ebay.

Will cost a bit more than £8 though.

Failing that a decent sharkmesh would look good
For example

Hmm, can't find the Watchadoo though it looks good.

Not a fan of the mesh look.

Oddly enough, I've got a mesh bracelet, with the tops of the links polished flat, that's an original 1980's Tissot.
Those mesh bracelets are really very comfy, I've had one on my Seiko SPORK for a number of years, and I really wouldn't swap it back to the original Seiko bracelet, it's far too comfy.

Lugs are the protruding bits of metal at either end of the case that the straps attach to.

Regards straps you need to know the width between the lugs, t'internet says it's 26mm for a fenix so you may struggle finding a Zulu strap that wide, although a 24mm will fit with a bit of spare Wiggle room.

If you fancy a Zulu strap I can recommend the ones from 'Monkeyswag' , got a 10% off code too if you need it.
