[#11712109]

Can anyone help? Need to get my sister a present for her birthday. But she lives hundreds of miles away and I can't go shopping cos covid. So, something I can buy online for a thirty-something woman who's just moved into a new home.

I'm rubbish at such things even with all the shops open...

If she's just moved into a new home then buy her something nice for the home that suits her interests.

Case of wine?

That seems to fit all the requirements so far

I have no idea what her interests are - she's your sister! Wine? Food? Self pleasure? Gardening? Forestry? Arts & craft?

Go totally boring and get her an Argos voucher for household stuff or something to get through long lockdown evenings like Monopoly or Scrabble or something she really needs like gin. My sister would probably be happy with any of the above but especially gin.

Get her some nice artwork to put on the walls. If you really wanted to impress her you could commission an artist to draw her favourite place or where she's just moved too

The murderer was left handed…

They would have had to be stood on the sofa to leave the axe in that position.

I was going to suggest check etsy for something made by some person in the UK and keep them possibly afloat. A nice plaque or sign for somewhere or cushions. Ah well Waitrose I’m sure are struggling too!

Does she like cheese?

Get her a ticket to a Zoom cheese-tasting evening. (or Wine). They send you the cheese and on the day you open the cheese and listen to the cheese-ologist explain what they are etc..

On the Cheese front, my sister got us a 3 month supply of cheese from I.J Mellis in Edinburgh for our Christmas present. Just had the second delivery and it's ripe! Yum, yum.
