I am trying to register to vote from France but as I dont know where i was last registered to vote in the UK i am being told its a no go any ideas ?
Do you [i]really[/i] have no clue?
Surely you remember your old uk address?
I moved alot in the uk before I left, I have given each address to the east devon councill and they say they can not find me and were not very helpfull.

Assuming you've lived in the UK in the last 15 years.
I apparently "expire" later this year. So should be able to vote this time round. After the bit of a mess of trying to register for the referendum vote, i started (again) immediately when the announcement was made. They've now sent me the same form back twice. Without telling me why. Just the (correctly) completed form in an envelope.
Neither of the phone calls i've made have given any reason for the return, so i've sent it back again.
If it comes back again I'll give up.
