Off to Dyfi Bike Park next Saturday.
The plan is to camp nearby overnight and then ride somewhere else on the Sunday along the route back (or there about) to Shrewsbury.
We were originally thinking of doing one of the black trails at Coed Y Brenin Like MBR - but after doing the black at Llandegla last week we were left a little underwhelmed. It was more of a black in terms of effort than anything else (plus a little bit tame) and not sure if the MBR will be similar.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to visit for some decent local trails between Dyfi and Shrewsbury please?
MBR is pretty short (19k from memory) so it's no slog. There's one section likely deserving of the black status that has some rocky drops that can be launched, but I doubt it will be in same league as an Atherton-designed bike park! MBR is deffo good fun though.
