cannot be itchy, scratchy material and not a chav-tastic sweatshirt, something chunky to wear outdoors with something underneath and be used instead of a coat for the late summer/autumn

Can't link, but under Fashion>jumpers. I've got 2 T&C Surf wool jumpers, had em for years and they're lovely.
Wrong time of year to be looking methinks.

Lots Here

Get a proper Guernsey jumper - well made, last forever, have some kind of semi oiled treatment, look okay.

Or a thickish Merino sweater - I've got a few but the warmest is a Howies Second Skin (I think) - was a rather comedy £105 but got it in a mega sale. Keeps you really warm, dries quickly, doesn't smell, nicely cut.

TK Maxx had a few jumpers without big logos(although many more with them) the other week. I managed to find a non-scratchy one that fitted -Now is the time to have a rummage for jumpers when nobody else is.

Merino stuff is good, but always seems to be quite thin.

ps. Who the hell does buy that Rapha stuff??? -and why?8O
