[#724108]

After a horrible crash @ Cwmcrn on Friday I now have a metal plate, 12 screws, 3 pins and a couple of wires in my right arm, hence I need a good GP recommended to me in St Albans. Also the name of the best orthopaedic hospital nearby.

Thanks in advance.

I was signed up to the Malting Surgery on Victoria St across from O'neils

Usually had to wait a couple of days to get an appointment but doctors were fine.

Sorry can't recommend an actaul GP there. Not had to visit for about 2 years.

There is a surgery on Hatfield road just near The Crown and I believe there is another one somewhere in Jersey farm.

Hospitals: From what I understand QE2 in Welywyn is better than Hemel or Watford.

The hospital in St A does have a small injuries unit, but I'm not sure if they have a specialist orthopaedic department.

That sounds like quite an off on the downhill or the main loop? Get better soon?

Pauly my mate who lives in St A uses Lodge Surgery on Normandy Road. Says they are ok.

X-Rays to follow when I can bear to look at them.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

Looks like a collection of army huts but they are good.
