Perfect evening for shooting some sticks…
For context, next month the club starts shooting indoors at a local army base gym, where we shoot 20yds with 80cm target faces. I’m shooting 30yds with an 80cm face to get used to the smaller face, coming down to 20yds to make sure my sights are properly set up.
When we went indoors last year, I’d only been shooting for about three months, so my accuracy was, shall we say, a little erratic*, plus it was a new bow.
In archery you never miss, you only drop an arrow 🙂
I’m totally stealing that.

Looking at the pics of modern bows I think I could cobble one up out of some leftover ply and an old pair of cross country skis...
I've seen a bow made out of old ?. It worked to a point.
I've made the odd primative bow the years. Great fun.
But used carbon arrows.
PVC pipe bows are fun as well.
