Started to build a little lean to shed.
Got the frame pretty much done .
Started to clad the outside with tongue and groove.
Looking groovy.but doent like the screws that and they have a tendancy to split the wood.
Looks like im going to have to nail it beung the lazy sod that i am
Cany anyone recommend an air nailer doent want to go the paslode.makita cordless route too dear.
Will a 18gauge bostick / bosch do or am i better with 15 or 16 gauge.i pressume a framing nailer will be to rough

little lean to shed

Surely a hammer is all you need for a little job like this?

Axminster has some serviceable nailers.

Let the man buy an automatic nail gun - you don't need to justify that sort of purchase to anyone!!!

This is STW. Single handedly funding the economy through consumer activity.

Fair enough but I bet a hammer would be quicker and obviously cheaper (and yes I do know that's not the point). 🙂

Hammer will only be quicker if you include the time for the post to get his new nailer to him...

Built several sheds over the years , wouldnt even entertain doing them for other people without my nailers. Hammering in nails for cladding gets old quick.

I have hitachis gas over electric

But i second hiring.
